Booking information
Many of our concerts are in aid of local charities
If you are raising funds for a much-loved charity, why not book hago - we'll play a concert for
you!
How does it work?
- We're not profit-making - we charge expenses, not performances fees - we won't eat into your profits.
- You provide a venue with entertainments licence, the ticketing and most importantly good publicity
- We advertise it on our website - we serve 30-50,000 pages a month
- You fix a start time - 7:45pm is popular
- We provide artwork for posters and programmes and play a concert of 2 45-minute halves
- You provide refreshments at half time, hold a raffle or do what else you do
- We finish and clear ourselves away by 10pm
What do you get?
- Music for all tastes, from renaissance to popular modern pieces
- A sound that surprises your audience - we're not loud - almost like massed harps
- New people interested in your charity
- Your charity concert featured on our website
What do we need?
- Lots of publicity in local newspapers / local radio - your hard work early on is your profit on the night!
- About 15 armless chairs
- Somewhere secure to change and to store our guitar cases
- A performance area at least 6 metres by 3 metres (20ft x 10ft)
Yes, that looks enormous, but it's essential!
- Good lighting for us, and preferably dimmed lighting for the audience
- An audience of up to 200
- Then just sit back and enjoy the evening
