The treble guitar
One or two guitarists and luthiers mention the Treble guitar, but there is an immediate disagreement about how it might be tuned!
- Some mention a tuning 4 notes above the classical guitar - this gives a unified family comprising Soprano, Treble,
Guitar, Baritone (in A) and Octave Bass.
- Others use the word Treble to anglicise "Terz" (though they are from different families of nomenclature), which means that they tune the treble 3 notes up.
