On January 31st, hago teamed up with some of the finest guitarists from West Sussex Guitar Club for a joint Concert in Chichester.
As well as some excellent music from WSGC and, (from emails we've received), from hago, we were delighted that Amanda Cook - one of the finest young Guitarists in the UK - came along to delight us with
a Turina Sonata.
We're starting to plan the rest of 2004 now.
On February 8th we're guests of Highbury Area Band in their now traditional Opening Concert for the Portsmouth Music Festival. This festival will be the first in which the "hago cup" for 2 or more guitars is awarded. If you want a heady mix of music from the quiet of guitars to the roar of a massive wind band, come along!
On March 6th, why not come and support us in a Fund Raising concert in the 12th Century church at Bedhampton - we are helping to fund a Youth and Families worker who will be providing support, advice,
help and much more to the young in Bedhampton and Leigh Park, irrespective of their religious beliefs.
The Church is a joy to see and it's a wonderfully intimate venue. Tickets are just £5, and you can find out more by ringing the Parish Administrator, any weekday morning (except Tuesday) on 023

Later this year we're playing for Portsmouth Community Health and also organising a Concert featuring Cambridge Guitar Orchestra. More on those nearer the time!
