Looking back...

We're delighted to tell you that our Concert on March 6th, in the 12th Century Church at Bedhampton, raised nearly £300 for their charity appeal.

A few days ago, the hago website received an award for its fast loading and clear layout.
Since then, we've taken the opportunity to tidy up some of the pages and include a site index. Why? Because there are over 200 pages in the website, and we want to make sure you can find anything you need - from ticket information to out-takes involving birthday cakes...

Coming soon...

Hot off the press is something new - an Open Rehearsal.

What's this? It's an invitation to local guitarists, aged 16 or over, who are Grade 3 or over, to come along on June 10th and make music with us.

Why? Because we want to strengthen the hago team with more guitarists - our Musical Director keeps telling us that if we expand a little, we can change our sound and become even more exciting to listen to.

Come on then - how much? It's free - hago believe passionately in outreach, and it's a chance to further our aim to bring guitar out into the community, rather than expect the community to come into the world of guitar.

On July 10th, we are teaming up with Cambridge Guitar Orchestra. We've not opened the on-line ticket box office yet, but we have got the venue booked...

We'll write again when tickets are on sale.

You might also like to know that our Musical Director, Derek Hasted, is holding another Guitar Concert in Bedhampton on July 1st, when his Guitar Ensemble Workshop raises money for two local charities. There will be more details at www.derek-hasted.co.uk soon.
