On behalf of everyone in hago, I'd like to wish you a Happy Easter.

Is it really 6 weeks since we last wrote? Indeed it is, though the improving weather and the light evenings make winter seem a long time ago.

So what's new?

The hago website has had its spring-clean, and you'll find the pages clearer and faster to load. More information at http://www.hago.org.uk/2005/03/

We're delighted to report the return of Avril, hago's very first contra player - this will be a real addition to the solidity of our sound.

When we last wrote we mentioned our forthcoming concert series. Time for more details!

APRIL

We're playing a short set on April 30th in aid of the Equestrian Centre at Fort Widley - booking details here... http://www.hago.org.uk/concerts/

MAY

On May 20th, we're playing at St Faith's Church in Havant, in aid of their restoration fund. Tickets are only obtainable from the Arts Centre (023 9247 2700), or, of course, on the door.

JUNE

On June 23rd we're at the Rowans Hospice helping their fund-raising - details here... http://www.hago.org.uk/concerts/ - the Rowans are handling tickets (Lesley Woodcock 023 9225 0001)
And we're off to Cambridge on June 11th too - and if you live close to Cambridge, we'd love to see you there - booking details at http://www.hago.org.uk/concerts/

JULY

And as we said last time, if you come to nothing else, come down to Portsmouth on July 7th, when we have a real scoop for you - one of the southern hemisphere's finest guitarists is coming to share a concert with us. You'll hear beautiful solos from Bruce Paine - one of the world's best players, plus hago's inimitable blend of contrasting styles, and a closing item for guitar duet and guitar orchestra that will be a most moving end to what we hope is a remarkable concert.
Buy your tickets early, and you'll save almost 10%. Buy a family ticket and you'll save double that.
And for the first time ever, you can purchase the tickets by credit card at our website - just visit http://www.hago.org.uk/concerts/ and buy through PayPal's secure server.

HELP!!!

Now, can you help us?
We have a poster that advertises all our forthcoming concerts, and we need help placing it in as many locations as possible.
If you are able to help, we can send you posters (just email with your name and postal address and the quantity required)
If you can help place a poster or two, we'd be positively chuffed to bits!
