The interior
Set in the campus at Bedales School, near Petersfield, this purpose-built modern theatre is spacious and modern, with excellent visibility and acoustics.
With angled seating at the sides, and a balcony above, there is comfortable seating for 320.
The Bedales campus is some little way into open countryside, and car or taxi are the only realistic ways to reach the Theatre .
Bedales is not far from the A3 at Petersfield.
From the South, leave the A3 at the A272 junction (signed Winchester/Alton). At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Winchester Rd, heading towards Petersfield. At the next roundabout, take the first exit (Bell Hill). After about a mile, turn right onto Church Road, and right again into the Bedales campus. The car park is first right inside the school.
From the north, Google Maps recommends leaving at the second (southern) A272 exit, signed Winchester/Alton, and turn left onto Winchester Rd, heading towards Petersfield. At the next roundabout, take the first exit (Bell Hill). After about a mile, turn right onto Church Road, and right again into the Bedales campus. The car park is first right inside the school.

The building has a limited number of removable seats and can accommodate four wheelchairs, but booking in advance is essential. There are disabled toilets in the foyer.
