Our music
We choose our repertoire carefully, programming our concerts to include a great variety of styles - we love taking our concerts to audiences unfamiliar with the Classical Guitar.
Come to a hago concert and you'll hear music from Early to Pop, from Classical to Jazz, from Stage to Film, from Renaissance to Reggae . . .
If there's one comment we often get at Concerts, it's
"What an amazing sound - I didn't know guitars could sound like that"
Our repertoire is extensive and varied - our different sizes of guitar free us from the limitations of pitch, volume and polyphony that constrain a guitar ensemble.
We want to change our audience's perception about classical guitar. We hope we succeed!

Visit our shop - our Musical Director, Derek Hasted, has a large number of guitar ensembles in print, including the well-known "Tiny Trios" & "Diff'rent Dances" - selling in large numbers year in, year out.
Derek's ensembles are increasingly finding a place at school concerts and in the repertoire of those who are still mastering the intricacies of Classical Guitar.
Derek's work with Associated Board and their Music Medals will help make Ensemble Guitar even more attractive to children.
